Wedding FAQ's

How long will my photos take to be finished?

I usually allow a turnaround time of four weeks and maybe up to six weeks during the busier summer months. (June, July, August and September).

How many photos will you take & how many will I receive?

Of course the longer the chosen coverage the more photos I will end up taking. I usually take around 2000+ photographs on a full day and from that I will select approx 400 to edit and deliver to you.

Describe your style and approach...

My 'style', I feel is best described as a modern take on reportage with a focus on the day's narrative and capturing those moments that you as a couple might miss. Basically I aim to make the photography as relaxed, laid back & fun as possible.

Do you provide black & white images?

Yes! I shoot digitally in colour, and professionally post process the images to give you high quality colour and black and white images.

What equipment do you use?

I shoot using a pair of pro level Nikon digital single lense reflex (DSLR) cameras, zoom & prime lens with an assortment of remote flashes, tripods, reflectors and other accessories.

What is the copyright situation on the images I'd receive?

All the photographic images I supply come with a free personal reproduction licence for you to duplicate, print and share with family and friends. This means that you may share them on social media but not claim them as your 'own work' for commercial and competition purposes; pretty straight forward I'm sure you'd agree.

Would you photograph a wedding elsewhere in the UK?

Sure. I'm happy to travel and can factor travel & accommodation into a price for you. Around the Mid Wales & Shropshire area, travel costs & time are included in my prices.

Are you insured? What measures do you take on the day?

Yes, I have full public liability & indemnity insurance with Hiscox, so I am fully covered in that respect. On the day my cameras are both loaded with x2 pro level memory cards, which are set to both record the pictures taken, so in the unlikely event that one were to fail there would be a second one as a backup. I also backup pictures during the day to a remote hard drive .

How much deposit do you require for a booking?

An initial deposit of £200 will secure your date once payment has been confirmed.
